  1. Remove the ear tips from both AirPods. you can wash them with mild soap and water, But ensure they are dry before reattaching them to your AirPods.
  2. Once the ear tips are removed, focus on the mesh area located at the top of each AirPod. This mesh protects the speaker and prevents debris to enter.
  3. Use a clean, dry toothbrush to clean any dirt or wax buildup from the mesh. Use your brush in a downward motion to prevent pushing debris into the AirPods.
  4. Clean speaker grilles with the help of a dry cotton swab. don’t apply too much pressure on the speaker mesh. Due to too much pressure cause damage.
  5. Take the soft, lint-free cloth and dampen it slightly with water. Wipe down the earbuds and the charging case. Don’t let any liquid enter the charging port.
  6. If you found dust in the charging port, use a dry cotton swab to carefully clean it. Ensure the port is completely dry before placing your AirPods back into the charging case.
  7. You can use a cotton swab with diluted isopropyl alcohol to remove stubborn stains. Don’t use alcohol on the speaker grilles.
  8. If you notice wax buildup on the speaker grilles, then use a dry cotton swab or a toothbrush to brush it.
  9. Once the cleaning process is complete, make sure all the components are dry before reassembling the AirPods.
